Location! Location! Location! Located on the edge of Boone down a private driveway on a 3-acre secluded mountainside. This light and airy cabin has been professionally decorated and equipped to make your stay extremely comfortable. Easy access to all of the area attractions including ASU, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, all ski resorts, Blowing Rock, Banner elk, Hawksnest, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, etc. Only a few days a year will there be so much snow that a 4 wheel drive is recommended.

The water not getting warm but for a minute or two was very upsetting. We had to take quick showers or cold showers. Also the temperature downstairs never got above 64 degrees so we were very cold. To have some warmth upstairs we had to start the fire in the house but that did not help the downstairs where the majority of us slept. If we would have been informed about the water and pipe situation before coming we could have rescheduled our stay. A little disappointed that we were not told prior to and given that option.

We loved the fireplace and the location! The beds were very comfortable. The home is very, very nice and close to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Boone. It is so private and secluded, but there is alittle bit of road noise. Light sleeps, bring your noise machine.

Perfect Mother/Daughter Weekend Spot

We rented this cabin for our first annual Mother/Daughter weekend with our freshman App State Students. This cabin was beautiful, super convenient and close to everything in Boone! The space was perfect for us, open kitchen for cooking, living room up and downstairs for playing games and doing puzzles. Lots of sleeping room with comfortable beds. All in all this was exactly what we needed and wanted for our weekend. We definetley will book this cabin again!

Visit our App student

We had a wonderful time visiting our daughter. This property is beautiful. The owners paid alot of attention to decorating detail. It is very close to App campus. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept great. Check in wasn’t great. We drove 10 hours and weren’t permitted to check in 30 minutes early. Also, the driveway is very tricky. Narrow and difficult visability. Just be prepared . We did get used to it. All in all would highly recommend as long as you are comfortable with the driveway. Beautiful property.

A quick weekend in Boone!

Myself and a small group of App State Alums used this space for a weekend football game. Check in and check out was very easy, the beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the cabin was so cozy and warm! We enjoyed the beautiful views and easy access to downtown Boone. A lot of space!

Great place has space enough for 8, maybe 9. Great detail by each light switch inside and out and fan and fireplace! Made it very easy to navigate and very nice heating! Floor heating which was awesome!! Loved the place!!
