The resort is older but very well maintained, clean and classy with a nice spa area with indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The grounds are beautiful and it's very convenient to everything in Blowing Rock and Boone. We stayed in a lake facing dog-friendly room with a balcony overlooking the pond. It was fantastic, very relaxing and we had our dog with us! The restaurants are wonder; breakfast was a real treat! We'll be back!

Just returned from two night stay at the Chetola Resort in celebration of our ninth anniversary. Our room was exceptional. We had a balcony and lovely view of the lake. The disc golf course was great and my husband and I played a round. We did not use the spa or the pool and hot tub but there appeared to be plenty of towels and warm water. We skipped the restaurant too. We did eat at The Moon, a Thai and sushi restaurant in Blowing Rock and highly recommend.
