The only down side is the location from the variety of shops and restaurants to enjoy in the local town. The location is a slice of heaven, but its distance to town is both a boon and a bane. Expect 300p trips back and forth from the hotel to D-Mall, the main strip. That being said the beach there is amazing and because it’s far from town it is not so crowded.

​My four-night stay at Savoy was absolutely perfect. The private beach is beautiful and impressively peaceful, far away from the usual crowds. The staff was incredibly attentive and always available whenever I needed assistance. I especially enjoyed the breakfast at Savoy Cafe, which featured fresh fruits, a great variety of breads, and different dishes every morning. The Newcoast area is very convenient, offering a 7-Eleven, ATV tours, kayaking, and excellent dining like the local steakhouse. It's the perfect spot for sunrise views and poolside relaxation. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quieter side of Boracay.
