The parking was great, receptionist was friendly.The hotel room was very small, air-conditioning was off, the room was so hot we had to keep the window open all night and there was music playing in the little courtyard all night long. No one working in reception. Bar and restaurant closed. Key not working to door, if we wanted to leave our room together, we needed to chase down someone from the empty reception to let us back in our room.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. More than willing to solve problems. I am learning to speak French and so I was grateful to converse with the maid. The maid was the real saving grace! Unfortunately the excellent service does not make up for terrible design issues. Perhaps too much effort was made on trying to create “style” and not enough on the basic utilities associated with a hotel. Guests require the receptionist to come to the room to change the air conditioning. Temp control is the minimum requirement to call yourself a hotel. Second, there is no water or tea making facilities in the room. Third, the initial room I was given was facing a brick wall. Fourth, the towels are old and small. This hotel looks like a french chateau on the photos. It’s not. Fifth, the breakfast was motorway service station. Overall this is an overpriced air b and b in the middle of a motorway. Ibis need to start again here and create a hotel instead of trying to ape a bansky art shop which I am afraid just does not work. I would not stay here again I am afraid.

Chambre satisfaisante avec le confort simple mais efficace. Petit déjeuner aux horaires flexibles avec un choix de produits bons et variés. Je préfèrerai un chauffage réglable dans la chambre comme ill'était avant, (, je fréquentais cet hôtel qd il était encore un Mercure!! ), puis qd il est devenu Ibis; c'est la 1ère fois que j'y retournai depuis les travaux!! ) : or j'ai eu froid notamment ds la salle de bain; et qd on rentre après minuit, à cette saison, on préfère trouver une bonne chaleur!

Séjour de 3 jours pour visiter Bordeaux

L'hotel est proche du tram C . En 30 minutes, on se retrouve place de la bourse. Bordeaux se visite facilement à pied ou en tram.On dort tranquille en dehors de l'agitation et le parking à disposition est fermé la nuit. Le personnel est très sympathique et le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux.

Séjour en solo pour le travail au top. Hôtel à côté de la rocade mais insonorisation parfaite (pourtant je suis sensible). Lit grand et confortable, équipements OK. Déco de la chambre et l'hôtel superbe. Buffet du petit-déjeuner parfait : large choix et produits de qualité. Seuls bémols : le sèche-cheveux était poussiéreux et le lumière clignotante du détecteur de fumée au dessus est gênante pour s'endormir.

Chambre cosy, WC dans la sde, écran TV de bonne taille, de la moquette dans le couloir ce qui permet d atténuer les bruits de passage. Pas de volet mais rideau occultant. Par contre, nous sommes des habitués de l enseigne et tjrs connu le café inclus à tte heure de la journée mais dans celui ci payant et pas terrible en plus ... plus d'eau dans la chambre , et donc plus de petits bonbons. Bon petit dej y a du choix en sucré mais salé aussi. Jus d'orange pressé top.

Muffiger Geruch (Kanal) im Zimmer, höchstwahrscheinlich weil dieser sich im Untergeschoss befand. Dort war auch keine Möglichkeit ein Fenster zu öffnen. Die Toilette war nicht normgerecht in einer Standarthöhe montiert so dass man nicht angenehm drauf sitzen konnte (der Boden konnte noch so gerade mit den Fussspitzen berührt werden) wahrscheinlich aus dem Grunde war der Toilettendeckel in einem sehr wackligen Zustand.

Checked in for 1 night as traveling through France The room was very tiny. It was not clean and needed repairs carrying out. See photos. It stated we would have bottled water in the room and would have expected a small bottle each. When there was only one for 2 guests we asked at reception for another as thought it was a mistake he shrugged his shoulders and said no, only one !! There was no hair dryer so had to leave with wet hair following my shower which was a work of art as the shower head only pointed towards the wall if you didn’t lift it off. Our room door would only lock if using the deadbolt on the inside so when going for breakfast had to leave it open/ unlocked. We have stayed in better Ibis budget hotels. To say this was supposed to be a styles class it was terrible. The 2 redeeming features were the breakfast that was included in the room rate which was very nice. Also the beds were comfy.
