The cycling and hiking network is well developed, and you can explore the Schlei on both banks by bike or on foot. From Arnis, Germany’s smallest town, there is a ferry to the other side. Boat tours can be booked from Kappeln. Swimming spots on the Baltic Sea can be found in Weidefeld or Damp. Shops are 5 km away in Süderbrarup or 10 km away in Kappeln. A riding stable is nearby.
