Look, I don't like leaving negative reviews. These folks are trying to run a business. And the room was clean and comfortable. However the pool was a murky green science experiment, not a welcome dip after a long day on the road. There were no instructions on how to get the two TV remotes to talk to one another. There was no hot water, which was a real pain. And there were no power points anywhere near the bedhead. This place was definitely not terrible, but at the price I wouldn't stay here again.

Due to 2025 floods in Townsville we had to adjourn our scheduled visit to hotel from Thursdayn13th Feb to Monday 17th February - it was no problem to owner/manager - more than happy to accommodate and a big relief to us as we travelled home to a flood bound area - thank you Bororen

We stayed here as a stop-over on a long driving trip and everything was fine- comfortable bed, nice hot shower, had a microwave to heat our dinner up. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a little noisy being on the highway but we were too tired to care. The bed was lovely!

The gentleman that met us was very helpful. He did warn us about noise from highway but gave us a room further away from road. The noise did not worry us at all. The bed was very comfortable, and room was clean. Very close to hotel and good meals there.
