Appalling Stay at Marriott Peabody - A Cautionary Tale Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I am compelled to share my disheartening experience at the Marriott Peabody, marred by subpar hospitality and egregious customer service. My encounter at this establishment was, without exaggeration, nothing short of nightmarish. From the moment of my delayed arrival at 1:00 a.m., the series of unfortunate events commenced. Despite my exhaustion, I was met with a room reeking of cigarette smoke, an utterly unacceptable condition for any reputable chain. Hoping for remediation, I requested a room change, only to be ushered into another chamber of horrors. This second lodging bore the distressing surprise of a ceiling leak, which unbeknownst to me at the time, transformed my personal belongings into a soggy mess whilst I was attempting to rest. Upon awakening to this disaster, I promptly sought a resolution from the authorities in charge. Herein lies the most egregious facet of my ordeal—Mr. Mike, the manager on duty, whose demeanor was the epitome of discourtesy and sheer indifference. His brusque dismissal of my plea for a refund was not only disheartening but profoundly disrespectful. Although I had endured less than three hours in the so-called haven of comfort, to absolve himself of responsibility, Mike coldly deflected the blame onto Expedia, the third-party booking service. When I reached out to Expedia, their representatives assured me of their efforts to mediate, yet were met with obstinat

The property was clean and the staff were very friendly and kind. The only complaint i had was that our room window had been left open a small amount and so it was cold in there. We figured it out and closed it.

The staff were so friendly and kind. The property was super clean. Our room was pristine. Beds were so comfy. Slept like a rock both nights. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel needs to be updated

Staff was nice, but hotel is dated. Towels all need to be replaced. They give you two bath towels that are so rough and worn out. Make sure refrigerator is plugged in before you leave food in there. We have a big family wedding coming up so we stayed here as a trial run I hope our guests won't be disappointed.

Hotel Restaurant was INCREDIBLE

The hotel was under renovation but the work was secluded and divided from the lobby. The restaurant food was incredible it was a little pricey but overall very satisfied.
