Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
When we booked this space, it was listed as an "entire home" (see screen shot), with nothing in the broader description to suggest it was otherwise. We checked in and were surprised to find food on the kitchen counter and the owner relaxing on the couch. In fact, this VRBO space is just a single attic bedroom with a shared bathroom (accessible through the shared kitchen). We were willing to consider the possibility that the misleading description was just a mistake in the listing rather than intentional deception (this was a new VRBO listing with no previous reviews). Unfortunately, VRBO and the owner have been unwilling to issue a refund based on the misleading listing, so we are having to pursue other avenues.It looks like the listing has since been updated, so this may no longer be an issue--but be aware of what you're getting if you book this space. It is not an "entire home," and you will not have privacy.
