Friendly service, nice breakfast, larger rooms, and we had no problem leaving with our car and coming back even though we weren’t checking out yet. The only negative was that the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable.

Gave a 2 of 5 star rating for the following reasons. 1. Was informed at check in desk of a $32/day charge for incidentals. Was given three coupons to use in the hotel bar, restaurant or parking garage. No change given when using coupon and total was under $32. Did have to pay anything over and above $32. 2. Paid extra to have a view of the city. Was given room 401, which has a very limited view because of a large wall obstruction to the left. Rooms 501 and 601 have the same issue. When the front desk was informed, the clerk indicated that hotel was full, and that in the morning they would have more options to move me to a different room. 3. The TV did not function on the morning of check out. Initially the TV came on for 30 seconds or so. Then it shut off. Countless attempts to restart it were futile. Remote batteries were not the issue.

Great hotel but with hidden costs!

The hotel itself was great and comfortable. Staff was great and friendly. Beautiful view of Charles River and walking distances to colleges. However, heat was not working properly - had their engineer come look at it. He cranked up the heat only for heater to make noises all night. We turned it down only not be able to turn heat up again! Parking was $45 per day!!! They gave us three $32 vouchers for breakfast - it was $22 per person per day for mediocre hot breakfast. There were 3 of us and we stayed for 3 nights. Ended up going elsewhere for breakfast that was affordable and tasted much better!

It is a great hotel for coming to Harvard. It has a Trader Joe’s and a Whole Food right next to it, which is very convenient. It is a 30 min very nice walk to Harvard. The staff is very nice and helpful. Me and my husband had to work, and the small business center works great. The hotel has a great gym and complementary coffee every morning. We stayed a week and it was a great experience. Walking to Back Bay takes 45 min or and 15 dollar Uber.

Clean and safe property with friendly and helpful front desk. I’d stay again. Trader Joe’s next door which was nice to get snacks. Grab and go bistro was nice and both cashiers there were super nice.

Great stay during my visit in Cambridge

The hotel provides excellent stay. The mattress was firm and confortable. The room was cleaned and temperature was perfect. The breakfast bar offers good varieties of food such as scrambled egg, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, fruits and nuts, toasts as well as croissants and English muffins sandwiches. The hotel locate next to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods which was ideal for people who want to grab their own dinner. It situates about a mile walk to MIT to where you can take a nice stroll along Cambridge quiet residential area.
