Stayed here for 2 nights with the family. My kids loved the pool and the commeon areas in the lobby which had coloring sheets and crayons for kids. The staff were really nice and polite. I opted for free parking and breakfast with my room and the breakfast had everything you needed. It was located 15 minutes from all the main Boston attractions so great location for a affordable price compared to the other hotels. Yes its over a highway which the kids liked because they saw cars and trains pass but if you are on a high enough floor you are not bothered at all ! Rooms were comfortable but were a bit dated and because of the carpet there was a bit of a smell but it goes away after a little while so 1 star off. Would stay here again if I went back to Boston.

We had a great stay. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. They were able to give us two adjoining rooms. The pool was clean, brightly lit and warm. Thank you for wonderful stay. We will recommend it to others and stay here again!

Everyone was very helpful (including the manager at Social trying hard to find the New England Revs game to play for my son). Was in Newton for a soccer tournament and this was an incredibly easy and comfortable place to stay.

Even on the 8th floor the I-90 road noise is very evident. The HVAC was not working, and the room was uncomfortably hot all night.

The staff was wonderful and it was a clean comfortable place to stay, but it was very noisy. The air conditioning/heating system was so loud in the room that you couldn’t hear the TV. The traffic was so loud it wakes you up first thing in the morning.. The highway actually runs under the hotel. We were on the 12th floor and the noise was enough to wake you up.

Will never stay at Four Points by Sheraton again

We were very disappointed and will never stay here again. To highlight a few of the worst moments, the heat failed during a particularly cold spell in the room our daughter, son-in-law, and infant daughter were staying in. The hotel managed to fix this but it failed again the second night. The clerk on duty at night was particularly unhelpful. In addition to putting our granddaughter at risk due to cold, we were so disappointed in the willingness of the staff to help at the time and their lack of accommodations afterwards. Another - less significant - example: I went to the hotel gym and found a staff member asleep on one of the benches - apparently 'hiding' out. Maybe that's why service was so bad. I've been a Bonvoy member for a long time but this has caused me to rethink my loyalties.
