Clean and friendly staff! Room space is restrictive/or good use of space depending how you look at it. Lack pamphlets or informational board on events and amenities in the areas. Price is reasonable and would stay again!

The room was a great price for what you get and the hotel in a convenient location. The rooms, lobby- everything was new and clean. Noise level was a bit loud through our room door and above our heads, but luckily not too late into the night. The incidentals available on each floor were scarce. I asked for washcloths and I was handed exactly one washcloth. My biggest complaint is that I asked for our bags to stay in the room for 20-30 min past checkout time (no bellhop) so we could eat in their on premise restaurant Althea and they said no so we ended up checking out and eating somewhere else. They did offer to keep our bags at the front desk but I didn’t feel my stuff would be safe. If you want to provide good service, my simple request was not unreasonable. 10%off at the cafe next door for guests but skip it, it was overpriced and not great.

I had such a wonderful time during my stay at Larks Hotel due to the amazing welcoming experience from Jack & Tyler. I was greeted with a warm welcome, a great description of everything I needed in the hotel and my room was spectacular! I even booked an extra night that I didn’t plan to, since I felt so relaxed and at peace in my room. I also really enjoyed the bar/restaurant downstairs the staff was immaculate, the food and drinks were outstanding but the icing on the cake was the warm smile from Thomas. Thank you all for your amazing care during my stay.
Love the seating area in my room for work.
Good window for sunbathing in afternoons for a mid day pick up.
Cocktails were amazing.

Everything about the place is great…except the light switch for the very bright bathroom light is a remote switch, not hard wired, and the light kept turning on because someone in another room clicked the switch. I gave up after getting up twice and slept with the light on shining on the bed. Management’s response was: we just bought the hotel…thanks for the feedback

Five stars for this funky boutique hotel. Perfectly located in Central Square, Cambridge MA -- easy walking to stores, restaurants. No breakfast in the hotel.. but a fabulous French Patisserie right next door. (Also next door -- Toscanini ice cream!!!) Only two complaints about the room: 1) Bathroom overhead light was set at 100000KW, and motion activated. This was unwelcome at any time, and seriously unwelcome at 3AM. (If there was a way to control, I could not figure it out.) 2) Zero convenient outlets... so weird for this type of hotel. I found some outlets hidden behind the nightstand. Hotel could easily solve this problem with unattractive but highly functional powerstrips! (I will bring my own on next stay!)
