Staff was very helpful, I was disappointed that the pool was closed for the season. The TV was broken, the staff made many attempts to fix it. The Manager was very sorry and refunded my complete payment which was very nice of her.

Very dirty, cockroaches in the bedrooms. Not dead, but alive. The night staff was friendly, but stressed out. Everything was dirty, dull and dingy.

Review of Motel 6 – Danvers, MA This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We booked this Motel 6 thinking it would be a simple, no-frills place to sleep after a late arrival and early departure. I figured, how bad could it be for one night? Unfortunately, it was much worse than expected. When we pulled up, there were three police cars parked out front, which immediately made me uneasy. I walked into a lobby filled with the strong smell of weed, and while checking in, someone pulled the fire alarm—total chaos. We didn’t even get a chance to go to our room before heading back out for the evening. When we returned later that night, the room was somewhat clean, but that’s where the positives ended. There was peeling paint, graffiti in the bathroom, and the hallways smelled heavily of weed. I felt incredibly unsafe, especially being there with my daughter. The most concerning part? The next morning, we noticed water coming up through the seams of the floor—not just damp, but actual water pooling. I’m highly allergic to mold, and both my daughter and I woke up feeling sick. It’s been over a week, and we’re still dealing with lingering symptoms. The only good part of the stay was the front desk employee, who was genuinely kind and helpful. But unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for how sketchy, unhealthy, and unsettling the rest of the experience was. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. I really can't compare to my past stays at this same location as THE MOTEL 6 HOTEL management caused my Expedia reservation at the Danver property to be cancelled for unknown reasons. The only reason we can suspect that our 2 room ONE NIGHT (Friday) reservation was cancelled was so the motel 6 could use our rooms for people wanting at least a 2 or 3 night weekend stay. The motel assistant manager said it was because the location was sold out. Fortunately, since the reservations were made by Expedia they made good on our reservations and found us a better hotel. EXPEDIA even paid the difference from our rate at YOUR location to the substantially increased rate at the better hotel. Expedia made sure we knew they cared about our business. No more Motel 6 for us and we will share our experience on social media.

When we got there had a message from the day before that the rooms we had reserved from October of last year was not available got to room had a mattress in a bag on the wall ac didn't work seen bugs in the room only stayed one night left the next morning would never stay there again also had camper on blocks in the parking lock and had several people going in and out of the woods

I walked around in my bare feet for five minutes on the fake hardwood floor and when I wipe the bottom of my feet with a wet washcloth, it came back black filthy, dirty disgusting. Check in clerk was miserable.

The pool was CLOSED for maintenance on July 4th weekend????? That’s crap!!! It was quiet but it’s very old! Seems a lot of homeless there too.

I was told I was given an "upgraded room." The "upgraded room" smelled strongly of marijuana (I was told it was a non-smoking room). The vents on the air conditioner were smashed. There was trash all over the balcony. There was a sticky substance all over the floor. Gross.

Get what you pay for. Staff was nice enough, room was bare bones but the floor was dirty and sticky. Nothing like the pictures. Overall it was fine for a place to crash, what do you expect for the price

Avoid, cheap for a reason

Hotel was grotty. Cigarette burns on the bath, Reception man was very rude, talking in another language to someone else whilst checking me in. Hotel stank of cigarette smoke, pool was out of order. Only one pillow each, asked for more but was told they were ‘locked away’. Avoid this hotel. Pay a little extra and get somewhere cleaner and better
