the property and hotel was great for the most part. would give it 5stars, however, they had massive driveway construction going on without notification waking us all at 7am and going to 7pm of nonstop extreme vibration and sounds. they did give us 30% refund on our stay for the disturbance. truthfully, the hotel owners should have closed this down for these days.

We loved the themed rooms and the ease of check-in/out. The game room was really nice. I just had a few issues: we checked out early and there is no onsite employees from 9pm-9am so I could not get ice since it was located in the office/game room or check out (I ended up calling the hotel to check out from the road at 9am). Overall a nice place to stay with all of the necessities in a fun and cool themed pirate room!

Building site until October 2025! Everyone woken at 4am to early machine deliveries! 07:30am building construction kicked off to vibrating walls throughout building! No prior warning of this to booking many weeks in advance! That said … upmarket motel with super modern facilities and clean rooms! Will be great once completed…,

The themed room was great! The shower was very slippery and I actually fell. I liked the scenery despite the construction i was made aware before and am looking forward to staying again once the new rooms are finished.

Theme room was comfortable but no shade or curtain over vanity window . Couldn’t provide real glasses or coffee / tea cups , only paper . Ordered food via door dash . Office could only provide plastic forks and spoons . Not even plastic knives were available. Entrance under construction and hotel is not within walking distance to Salem attractions . It was however a short drive to the public parking garage . The Dunkin’ across the street was a plus.

The room was great. Very clean & comfy. The construction at this property is a hot mess. Google maps takes you to the parking lot which is closed. Parking to stop and ask is limited on the street. Had to ask a construction worker how to get to the office. Had no luck talking to anyone at the office after leaving a voicemail for someone to call me back. They should far warn their guests prior to arrival.

The Cove-great place to stay and close to Essex St

The room was great. Lovely sitting area with a little table and a sink with a refrigerator separated from the main bedroom. Two things that would’ve helped a deadbolt at the door for safety and a microwave. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we loved the game room.

Property is under construction so the entrance is a little confusing. Other than that the rooms were great and the game room was nice. Has a nice area to hang out outside with a fire pit. The rooms could use a microwave in it but they have one in the game room. Overall it was a great stay and close to downtown Salem. Would stay there again.
