The house itself was charming, but our room was absolutely terrible. It appeared to be clean, but the carpet had so many stains. The furniture was cheap and plastic, the room was dingy. There was no hairdryer, breakfast was just some sliced up coffee cake. The air-conditioning unit in the window was not sealed properly and cold air was coming in all night. Not to mention road noise all night long. I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel for the price we paid. It was just horrible!

This hotel is large, clean, well taken care of, and the staff are amazing! We slept well and enjoyed the back yard and patio area, and the small plate breakfast was just what we needed to start out day as well!

We paid at least $450 for a night and the condition of the hotel and room (peeling wall paper, pant peeling, bathroom sink small) didn’t warrant the price. It seemed a lot better in the pictures than in reality.

Beautiful but tired hotel

.Beautiful boutique hotel in historic Marblehead has all the makings of a noteworthy stay I really wanted to love this place but the old building is showing its age. Pealing paint above the shower, towel bars barely hanging on the wall and blinds that can’t be raised. I would give it 3.5 stars.

This property is not worth the price at 600$ a night for a king size rm. It has none of the charm you would expect at an older property...Our room was very basic with a random mixture of furnishings and a toilet that ran after flushing. Would not recommend this hotel at these rates.

The Hotel Marblehead was a spot we chose to be both close to local beaches as well as the airport. Our stay was short but we were made to feel at home. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. I’m just guessing but this whole area must be a sweet taste of life in coastal Massachusetts.

A very quaint and pretty property and area. Room was small but comfortable. Amenities could improve such as having hangers for the closet, WiFi info at check-in, and better coffee arrangement for early morning.

the rooms were bright and clean and the property was in easy walking distance to downtown marblehead. There were bikes available to borrow as well.. All in all a great experience
