Family-Friendly Oceanview Cottage w/Private Saltwater Hot Tub + shared sauna– C7

Cottage 7 is a charming two-bedroom waterfront cottage offering a comfortable layout for couples, families, or small groups. Upstairs, the loft-style primary bedroom features a queen bed and a private balcony, while the second bedroom provides a cozy retreat for additional guests. The cottage also includes a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a tub and shower combination.

Inside, a wood-burning stove adds warmth and a cozy atmosphere, making this cottage especially inviting in cooler months. Outside, guests can relax around their private fire pit or enjoy meals and ocean air on the large deck, complete with patio furniture and a propane BBQ with complimentary propane. Guests also have access to Wi-Fi and internet TV throughout their stay.

Wood-Fired Hot Tub (Additional Cost):
Guests have the option to add a private wood-fired saltwater hot tub to their stay. This is a unique, resort-style experience and is available year-round. To use the hot tub, guests must contact us in advance, sign a waiver, and provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for preparation. The hot tub cannot be added or cancelled on the day of check-in.

The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled with fresh saltwater pumped directly from the ocean for every reservation, then reheated from ocean temperatures that can be as low as 35°F. This preparation process takes 4 to 7 hours. After it is prepared, guests are responsible for heating and operating the hot tub for the remainder of their stay.

Hot Tub Add-On Fee:
$65 + tax (one-time fee)
Includes preparation, initial heating to approximately 100°F, and one tote of firewood.

Sauna & Firewood (Additional Cost):
Our wood-fired oceanfront sauna is shared with other cottages and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. To use the sauna, guests must sign a waiver and purchase a tote of firewood for $15 + tax per session.

Additional firewood can be purchased at the office during office hours (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily, excluding holidays) for $15 + tax per tote.

Gear Rentals (Seasonal, Additional Cost):
Outdoor gear rentals are available during office hours, including:
-E-Bikes: $25 + tax per day (10:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
-Stand-Up Paddle Boards: $15 + tax per hour
-Kayaks: $15 + tax per hour
Availability is seasonal and weather dependent.

Pets:
Pets are welcome, with a limit of one pet per visit. If you would like to bring an additional pet, please check with us in advance.
All pets are subject to a $50 + tax per pet fee.

Additional Guests:
For one-night reservations, no additional guests are permitted on site beyond the number listed in the booking.

On-Site Laundry:
A washer and dryer are available for guest use on a seasonal basis.

The cabin and location is awesome! We loved the salt water hot tub. The first night we added wood and didn’t check the temperature and it was too hot to go in. So we went in the next morning. The cabin needs pot holders but we got away with using a tea towel to pull hot pans out of the oven. Love the view from the cabin of the ocean. And the upstairs view was also so beautiful!!! A problem we had is waiting for a staff meeting to be done to rent the kayaks and bikes. The office was supposed to open at 10am but staff meeting didn’t get out until 10:50 so needed to wait 50 mins to talk to reception to book kayaks. The maintenance man did help us but he didn’t have a key to unlock kayak. After a 50 minute wait we got to go out on the ocean. I’m giving 5 stars because they gave us the rentals for free. The other problem we encountered was slow to no wifi for the entire 7 day stay. They couldn’t get someone to check it out because of the long weekend. We managed the week by going on the deck and getting coverage out there and also got better coverage upstairs. Loved everything. So beautiful there.

Cottage is quite old, architecturally interesting but so much dust and dirt in the upstairs loft - layers of dust on the ceiling fan blades they weren’t safe to turn on and cobwebs hanging from all the wooden beams, staff were very nice and helpful/attentive. We paid for the hot tub but sadly there was too much debris in it to feel safe.

The property was lovely. Kitchen fully equipped! Bathtub was huge! View of waterfront perfect. Best part was the private wood heated salt water hot tub. Just what we needed after a long day of visiting all the amazing sites.

An unbelievable experience

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. The location was clean, tidy, and exceptionally situated. The cottage came fully prepared, and truly felt like home.
