Welcome to "The Pinnacle," a luxury waterfront estate, situated on 3+ private acres with over 650 feet of shoreline. One of Lake Gaston's largest private homes, this exclusive vacation rental features 10 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, 3 laundry rooms, sleeps 25 and has over 11,000 square feet to explore.

Let's take a tour!
Just off the main road you'll find yourself entering a whole new world.  A narrow, private country road leads through 500 acres of an actual working farm to the front door of The Pinnacle.

Sturdy 34' oak beams accented by a massive stone fireplace and rich leather tones greet you in the 2,000 sq foot great room! Have a quick refreshment at the welcome bar, tickle the keys of the baby-grand or pour yourself into one of the many lake-facing leather couches.  The great room is a true gathering space for groups, small and large.  There are multiple couches, card tables, a wet bar, a loft lounge with poker table and video center the extends the entire width of the structure in addition to a Juliet balcony off the Master.  The space can easily accomodate 25+ people engaging in intimate conversation without feeling encroached.

Prepare the perfect meal while taking in expansive water views! You'll find the kitchen stocked with almost everything you need to feed a small army, to include 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves and 2 dishwashers.  The kitchen is accented by Amish cherry cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances & an incredible island bar!  A large dining room and eat-in kitchen provide ample seating for the entire crowd to eat, drink and be merry, or take dining outdoors on the screened porch--a great place for drinks, meals, games or conversation.

A quick walk to the dock and you can relax in the sun, belly up at the bar ,take a plunge into the deep waters or grab a kayak and explore one of the abandoned "Duck Blinds" or the island chains.  There's so much to do here both inside and out!  And don't forget, the fishing at Gaston is GREAT!  :)

Equipped for unlimited entertainment, all 3 levels of the house have something to share:

The main level presents a beautiful baby grand piano for the talented musician to serenade with lovely dinner music or for gathering around and singing favorite tunes. 
The top level loft area is for the card sharks!  A poker table, card table and lounge area with a large flat screen TV will provide countless hours of fun! 
The bottom level is the ultimate indoor playground featuring a pool table, ping-pong table, air hockey, shuffleboard, dart board, a Ms. PacMan Game Table, foosball table and work-out room.  A lounging area with flat screen TV and fireplace is the perfect place to relax.

A few more tid-bits...  :)
1.  Trained service animals are welcome!  Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy.  We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance as they fill up fast!

2.  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).

4.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

5. Security Camera Disclosure:  We take your privacy very seriously.  However, this home is monitored by exterior security cameras in the following locations: 
Doorbell camera monitoring the front door and circular driveway
Camera mounted above the garage monitoring the garage side driveway and garage access
Camera mounted above back patio monitoring steps up from the lake and rear West basement entrances
Camera mounted under backstairs to second floor monitoring East back entrances and access from lake shoreline.
