Last but definitely not least are the patio doors that lead to the newly built decking area. Sit at the bistro table and drink in the stunning views. Bring your binoculars and watch the aeroplanes take off and land from Leeds Bradford Airport, and beyond, look out to the panoramic views. Watch the sun rise in the morning and see beautiful sunsets in the evening.
If you like true country pubs there are two a short walk away. The Raggalds hosts a mouth watering carvery and has a delicious menu. It has tribute nights, Bonkers bingo and quiz nights plus much more. It is also a wedding venue. The Junction has a wonderful home cooked menu and has a beer garden to the rear with a play area.
From the Junction pub there is a countryside walk which leads to The Great Northern Trail. There are many lovely walks within and around Queensbury. Ogden Water is a favourite for walkers a 10 minute drive away.
Bradford centre is only 5 miles away and has been voted The City Of Culture, and Halifax town has much to offer. The Piece Hall has bars and shops and in December has a Christmas market. In the summer it holds concerts and hosts bands like Madness and Status Quo. Artists like Gary Barlow, Ollie Murs Ellie Sax and Fat Boy Slim will also be performing. Well worth a visit.
