Guest towels were stained and not enough of each in the bathrooms. Carpet was torn and coming up in the bathroom doorway ( unsafe!) Part of the ceiling was in disrepair in the bathroom. The chair in the room was nasty, dirty. The complimentary breakfast was not kept filled . No coffee, ( one of the quests made coffee) no juice, only 2 yogurt. Very disappointing! Never enough pool towels.

We stayed at the Country Inn in Deerwood and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The accommodations were very rundown and haven’t been updated in quite some time. Upon arrival, the check-in system was down, which caused a lengthy delay, and some rooms in our group weren’t even ready by the stated 3 PM check-in time. The rooms themselves were in serious need of an overhaul—there were holes in the blankets, the towels were dingy, and the overall condition was far from welcoming. Breakfast offerings were extremely limited, and basic amenities were lacking. There were no garbage bins near the entrances, which was especially inconvenient since this is a pet-friendly location. We had brought our pet and had no way to properly dispose of pet waste. Additionally, there was a designated smoking area directly outside the main entrance, which made walking in and out unpleasant. A more appropriate location further from the door would be appreciated. Pool area was nice and had been maintained better than the rest of the property outside of towels and chairs for this area were not in best shape. Overall, this stay left much to be desired, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously for future guests

I first booked two rooms for $117/night for each room through the hotel itself then saw on Expedia that they offered it for $87/night for each room - exact same rooms. Called the hotel to see if they would match that price said no so I canceled my reservation and booked through Expedia. Everything went smoothly during check-in. Upon entering the first room we noticed everything is out dated, there was quite a bit of previous damage, and that the rooms were quite dirty (carpet fraying, hole in bathroom door from being slammed into towel rack, grime built up on faucets, debris and crumbs in the carpet even clothing under bed from a previous visitor). The second room had a mini fridge that had an awful smell and wasn’t working even though plugged in. We had other family staying at the hotel whose rooms were in similar condition. They state check in is after 3 don’t be surprised if you get there and have to wait an hour to finally check-in. The mattresses in the rooms were awful to sleep on, the bedding consisted of fitted sheet, flat sheet, a woven blanket, and a paper thin comforter. The towels for pool area were always empty and jets for hot tub didn’t work. Don’t even try to track down an employee to ask for anything because it is near impossible. The breakfast provided was so-so and sparse. Again no employee or front desk person to ask to make more coffee or refill the juices. All-in-all I can’t believe I even paid $87/night. Only plus is the parking and it’s quiet.

Got there at 3:10. 19 people waiting in lobby. Finally got checked in at 3:45, but couldn't go to room yet, because they hadn't cleaned it yet. All the towels in the room, and in the pool area had brown stains on them.

A place to lay your head

It is a dated hotel. It was a place to lay our heads at night. Service at the front was great. Towels were nasty, no extra pillows available and beds sucked (for me. Im sure some wouldnt mind it). Left the hot tun w it being luke warm and jets didnt work. My skun was all slimey too. Eww

The motel is extremely outdated and dirty. No blankets on the bed, just a thin cover that was stained... i was ok there i always carry my own linens.. the towels were nasty stained and it looked like blood stains on one. I had to ask for them too btw. The ice machine was broken, vending machines also out of order, the pool area was so hot and stuffy... we stuck our head in and decided nope. Id definitely find somewhere else to go.

The staff was wonderful, very polite and helpful. Great price and they do have a pool and hot tub. The room we were in had a hole in the wall from the door handle and another hole in the bathroom door from being slammed open into the towel rack. The hot tub would have been better if it had working jets.
