A beautiful gem in downtown Brandon. Hotel is old but clean and well maintained. Great fun in the ballroom with the weekend pianist.

I grew up in Brandon, and this is the first time I had stayed in the Inn. The room, 211, needed a light near the shower, and a grab bar in the shower. The woodwork desperately needs painting. I was unhappy with the hardness of the bed in 214, and was moved to 211 quickly. The hard boiled eggs were tasteless, but the current bisciuts were good, and I appreciated the fresh fruit. The bartender/elevator operator/front desk person was very nice, and helpful during the evening. I have a hard time remembering names, but he was great.

The Brandon Inn is one of my favorite places to stay. The location is great, with 2 outstanding taverns/pubs, a breakfast/lunch diner brewery and a fine dining resturant all within a 2 minute walk. The Inn itself is outstanding. With the historic ambiance, antique furniture and artifacts through out the halls and rooms, and the renovation and preservation of what the Inn was like 200 years ago, it is truly a trip back through time. May the Brandon Inn have success for many years to come.

The Brandon Inn is a beautiful well preserved historic inn. A very friendly host and hostess purchased the inn a few years ago , and they have done an amazing job with keeping many of the original characters of the inn , while keeping it beautiful and comfortable . I can not wait to see the continued improvements they have planned . Their breakfast could offer a few hot items like bacon , and scrambled eggs . especially being how they have a kitchen . The beds are on the newer side but are extremely firm .I spoke with one of the owners and suggested a mattress topper that is like a pillow top. My back had a real difficult time with the very firm bed .They aim to please so I sure they will address the concern . There was not much to do in the immediate area's at night , everything closes very early . Some activities like trivia, or bingo would be fun . The pub had a nice menu but really needs to add a chicken dish or a burger to the menu . What we did have was delicious but could only find something for the one evening , and we would have liked to eat nightly at the inn for the convenience. These are minor concerns , that I am sure will grow as the new owners continue to do their beautiful updates. We hope to return soon and would recommend the Brandon inn !!

It's historic and has old-timey charm, but it's kind of run-down. Not super clean, either. The bed was very firm, not comfortable for me. Breakfast was minimal. Bar live music was not my scene. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place just needs some focused TLC.

We were under the impression the hotel had dining in the evening, not. The continental breakfast was pleasant. The room was pleasant. The staff was warm and friendly.
