I'll be honest. I didn't actually stay here this time but I have several other times. I however did pay for it with a non-refundable reservation. I would say it is an average economy hotel which is why I gave it an average score. But, the day we were supposed to leave to come to Branson a family member passed away. I contacted the hotel as soon as I found out. I then received a call later that day asking when my estimated arrival time would be and I again explained that we had a death in the family and would be unable to come. I understood that it was nonrefundable but was there any way we could change our dates? They said since I booked with Hotels.com I would have to contact them. I did contact Hotels.com and they were super nice and understanding they said they would call the Hotel on my behalf and see if there was any way they could wave the penalty and get my trip rescheduled. Well they did call and said that they unfortunately couldn't get the hotel to budge and that I would be billed for the entire stay. Again, not saying I wanted my money back but to refuse to reschedule even if they billed the 1st night was ridiculous. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times but it will go to the bottom of my list as there are so many really great hotels in Branson. Just know that when tragedy strikes they do not care!
