So-So

The hotel was in a great location to most everything. The people at the service desk to check in/ out were very friendly. Now issues were the bed wasn't very comfortable, the inside portion of the pool was so tiny that the kids couldn't enjoy it, the elevators are really slow, our tub wouldn't hold water and our joining room with other family members in it had a tub that wouldn't drain. Now the mini fridge puts the M in mini. Ours was disgusting and had I don't know what in the tray. I just took it out and took it down to the service desk it was gross! The fridge is so tiny that you can barely fit anything in it. You can put maybe 5 drinks in it and that's it. And the bathroom is also evenly tiny. There was maybe an inch between the toilet when opening the door. And about a foot between the toilet and tub. We made everything work for the time we were there. But can't say I would stay there again.

I liked check-in, breakfast, hot tub & location, as this hotel is very close to the various theatres. We saw 8 excellent shows over two days. I did not like lack of staff. I called front desk 3 times to have the room cleaned for our last night. They passed the messages that room 507 needed to be made, but no one came, and the room was not made. This was aggravating. This is neither fair nor acceptable.

I thought for a resort it would be more kept up. The hallway carpet was torn up, the whole place just felt kind of old and dingy. The "indoor pool" is about the size of the hot tub. So dont take kids thinking thry are gonna enjoy it. The bathrooms are tiny. Just didnt have the resort feel.

The paint on the ceiling of the room was fallling off. I think I got a room that was different than the pictures that I ordered. Had to ask them twice to change the bedsheets or even make up the beds and they never did it once. Had to ask them for sheets for the fold out bed for the boys. The left bathroom sink was flooding the tiles and when I asked them to send maintenance, he said he would fix it after we left Because we were leaving the next day. The hey are very pushy about show tickets. They don’t clean rooms during your stay and if you want clean towels you have to go to the front desk and get them. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were at Branson for a relaxing weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We've been to Branson a few times before and thought we'd try this "resort". We will not stay there again. The room was mediocre; pillows were unsupportive (it took 2 calls and 40 minutes to get an additional pillow), outlet covers were missing (2 of them), and the furniture had obvious signs of heavy wear (tears in the chair upholstery, sizeable chunks out of table tops). Not much of a resort feel. Breakfast was great and those staff were wonderful. The overwhelming commercialism of the hotel was a huge negative. When checking in, the front desk staff were trying to sign up each new arrival for a vacation club presentation (smelled like a timeshare). They were pushy. After driving several hours, I didn't want to be greeted by a sales pitch. A flyer for the vacation club and presentation was under my room door when I arrived--and a new one was added every day!! That was a bit much. Also, the elevator doors are covered in large ads for their restaurants, etc. I guess I was expecting more class from a "resort". Branson has many hotels, so we will find another option next time.
