Fantastic views, friendly, helpful staff

Pros: We appreciated the little extras, complimentary tea and fruit 24/7. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hotel is a stiff hill walk out of town but a taxi is not expensive (the bus actually costs more!).
Location: Brasov is a wonderful old town location and a good base for the "must see" castles.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel which is a family run place with about 9 rooms in a relatively new building. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Considering its size the breakfast provided a good selection, eggs and sausages, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cakes etc. Our room was clean and well furnished and appointed. The communal lounge has some games and books to borrow. The hotel also facilitates a communal atmosphere with a fire in the garden. We didn't join it ourselves but it looked fun. We also appreciated the help with transport (driving us into town when the taxi didn't turn up in time for our train) and organising a tour guide to take us to Bran, Peles and Rasnov castles.
