Derford Farm Stay - The Barn

Derford is a generational working farm going back 8 generations. Farming Black Angus beef, Wagyu beef and Lamb in picturesque Bream Creek overlooking Marion Bay

We open our doors and welcome you enjoy our space, sit back and relax in the sunny spaces or cosied up in front of the woodfire, cook up a feast in the entertainer’s kitchen and enjoy watching the forever changing landscape, we hope you enjoy your stay!

The space:
THE BARN, Derford Farm stay accommodation offers 3 big bedrooms sleeping 7 people comfortably (1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 3 singles) a porta cot is available on request, 1 bathroom with twin shower, a separate toilet, laundry with washing machine & dryer, large living room with wood heater and heat pump to keep warm and cozy during winter and cool in summer, a fully equipped kitchen and dinning with 8 person dining table, large outdoor entertaining area with bbq, fairy lights and firepit, suitable for couples, families or small groups.

Located within a short drive to the beautiful Marion Bay Beach, Vineyards (Bream Creek & Bangor), Hellfire Bluff Distillery, The Cannery Restaurant, Bakery, Dunalley Pub, The Fish Market, Cafe's and Golf Course.

Bream Creek is a great base for visiting the Tasman Peninsula which includes Port Arthur Historic Site, Eaglehawk Neck with the Blow Hole, Fortescue Bay National Park with popular three capes walking tack, White Beach and more.

30 minute drive through the high trees, ferns and greenery of Wielangta Forrest takes you to the seaside town of Orford which offers beautiful white beaches, parks, cafes and Blue Waters Restaurant.
A further 5 minute drive takes you to Triabunna, the scenic portside town and the gateway to the wildlife sanctuary of Maria Island National Park where the ferry leaves daily.

PETS: As we love to travel with our dogs, we welcome pets to stay. Pets are to remain outside. Pets are to be kept under control and always restrained, we are a working farm with cattle and sheep in surrounding paddocks, the property is fully fenced but it is railing and wire fencing Derford is a generational working farm going back 8 generations. Please close all windows and external doors, turn lights, electronics and heater off.
