The area is renowned for its excellent cycling routes, with trails suitable for all levels. Visit the nearby market town of Hay-on-Wye, known for its second-hand bookshops, independent cafes, and unique shops. History lovers will appreciate the nearby Tretower Court & Castle, a beautifully preserved medieval site. If you’re a fan of outdoor adventure, try paddleboarding or canoeing at Llangorse Lake, just a short drive away. With plenty of local pubs and restaurants, you’ll have a range of dining options after a day of exploring.
This is a fabulous base for those wanting to explore the area whether it be on foot or by bicycle. For the more adventurous why not take a walk up Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales? There are so many walks to be had from the front door, it is certainly the perfect spot for your holiday.
