Live to the rhythm of yesteryear in a patrician residence, an 18th century family residence, and recently restored with respect for its authenticity, thus allowing you to let yourself be taken in by the beauty of the place, with nature largely present and to recharge your batteries far from the stress of modern life… We are accompanied by the song of birds and the place is very calm.

Nestled in a small Ticino village, at an altitude of 740m and in the immediate vicinity of Italy, this residence has a large pleasure garden which offers a wide panorama.
The proposed apartment with its two bedrooms is on the 1st floor.
The largest, bright bedroom, of which we wanted to keep the original volume, has a direct view of Lombardy with Milan on the left and the Alps (“Mount Rosa” chain) on clear days on the right. It has a comfortable double bed (1.60x1.90) and also a child's bed (1.20x2.00). It is equipped with a private shower room/WC.
The 2nd bedroom, adjoining the 1st, offers 2 beds (0.80x1.90 each). It can have the second shower room/WC in the apartment.
A wide, bright corridor opens onto the garden. a place of meal was organized there and allows to eat there with sight on the garden and the plain of Lombardy.
In the living room preceding the kitchen, there is a convertible sofa.
The fully equipped kitchen overlooks an interior courtyard and has a comfortable volume.
Note that in this apartment restored with respect, the ceilings are distressed and give a particular cachet to these places.
On the ground floor there is a large portico overlooking the large garden with a space reserved for tenants
A parking space is available near the property.
Nearby are many opportunities for mountain hiking, such as "Monte Generoso", culminating at 1704m. From Sagno itself, a walk of about half an hour leads to a magnificent panorama above Lake Como. A hike can go up to “Monte Bisbino”, then continue beyond for experienced hikers.

Sagno is at the beginning and at the height of the valley di Muggio, named the most beautiful valley in Switzerland a few years ago. The small villages are charming, on both sides of the "La Breggia" torrent, and the few typical small restaurants offer a neat, simple cuisine, with good local products.
In Sagno itself there is an inn, a bar and a small supermarket open in the mornings.

Several supermarkets are in the valley between 5 and 7 km (in Switzerland in Mendrisio, Chiasso or in Italy between Chiasso and Como).
In this magnificent region of Italian lakes, Lugano located at about 18 km and its lake with its lidos for swimming (12 km), Lake Como at 10 km, Milan at 40 km, Lake Maggiore also at about 40 km await your visit.
One of the owners lives on site. She is often present, has her separate living space and can happily advise you on things to discover in the surroundings. She is of dual culture, Ticino and French.

Note that the tourist tax fixed at 2CHF per adult and per night will be payable on arrival.
