Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, Ecusta and Noblebrau breweries are within 10 minutes drive. Brevard Music Center is less than a mile and a half away. Hiking, rock climbing, fly-fishing, and mountain biking are unmatched in Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, 15 minutes and 25 minutes drive, respectively. And of course Sliding Rock is a must-do!
A bit further afield you can explore the Cradle of Forestry, Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Biltmore, Gorges State Park, PARI (astronomical research institute), the Hwy 276 arts corridor and more.
