"​We stayed here during the slow season, so the property was very quiet and peaceful, and the resident peacocks were an absolute gem that added a unique charm to the place. We ran into a few maintenance issues during our stay—including low shower pressure, a weak toilet flush, an unheated hot tub, and no lights in the pool—but when we notified the staff, they immediately offered to move us to a different room. We admittedly declined because we were already unpacked and settled in, but the staff was incredibly friendly and did everything they could to accommodate us. I also took advantage of the yoga classes offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which were super nice. In terms of location, it is a bit of a hike from the beach—about a 20-to-25-minute walk—and the staff responsibly advised us not to walk around the area at night, though using an Uber is perfectly fine. Ultimately, it was an okay stay; we initially wavered on leaving three stars, but we decided on four because the staff was just so genuinely friendly, helpful, and proactive with their solutions."
