Restaurant food was very nice and good value. Breakfast was excellent the hit options were all freshly cooked and good quality. The continental options were also good quality and varied. The room was a little tired and some or the corridor areas could do with a freshening up. All told a very nice overnight stay and will stay again when in the area. Another stay at this lovely hotel. Yes it's a little shabby in places & the carpets could do with a cleaning but what makes this hotel are the staff. Their attention to detail, friendly, polite & efficient service is second to none. The food is excellent. All in all this is a cosy hotel & well worth a visit. I do also think the room pricing is very competitive for the area.

We have used this hotel on several occasions to break a journey from the north-west to Cornwall. Where it was made to feel welcome and have enjoyed larger than average rooms, easy parking and superb dinners and breakfast.
