Two night stay. The staff were attentive and helpful. Location is right on the quayside. Venue has some free parking, it might be a problem at busy rimes, but was not for us. We tried the upstairs restaurant and the fish and chip takeaway, we agree the food is a very high standard.
Accommodation was expensive but as we was only staying for 1 night we thought we'd spoil ourselves. Accommodation was 3 steps(I counted) to the bar/restaurant which was beautifully furnished, and the restaurant overlooked the harbour.I would say probably the best seats in the house to enjoy our evening meal, and gorgeous Yorkshire breakfast.Definitely will stay here again if there's a show we want to go to at the Spa, ideal location.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The location is fantastic (try for the Harbour view). The people are just lovely and the restaurant is amazing. The seafood is spectacular.
Fab hotel and I just love the views out into the harbour, watching the boats and the tide ebb and flow. Worth paying for seaview room. Beware of winter opening hours and do let reception know that you will be arriving, especially on a Sunday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
