Our experience in Brindisi

The apartment is in a great location. However our experience with the host was not a good one. Despite having booked and paid for this apartment (which was advertised as a 2 bed) the owner said the 2nd bedroom could not be used by us. This decision changed when VRBO spoke to her. We discovered the water had been turned off at the mains and the owner became very annoyed when I could not follow the instructions (in Italian) to locate the outside mains to switch it back on and she had to come and do it. Despite initially saying we could stay a bit longer than the contracted 11am check out time, the owner sent us a text the evening before our departure saying we had to leave at 10am. Overall the facilities in the apartment are limited- very few utensils, no pots or pans… and no WiFi. All in all, not a good experience.
