The location is perfect , because it's close to train station , specially when coming from Brisbane international airport late at night. The bed was very comfortable . Big size TV , could not find safe box in room, which surprised?.

The room appeared to be clean but it was obviously very dated. There was minor damage to various things (paint chipped walls, edges of mirror were moldy, etc). My sheets were dirty and I woke up to a beetle crawling across my toothbrush. My keycard reader on my door suddenly shut off, meaning I was locked out even though I’d just gone downstairs to pick up a food order. It took a minute to get anyone’s attention at the front desk. I was told the card reader ran out of batteries and if I wanted to leave my room again/come back they would need to open it manually for me so I felt like I couldn’t leave and I missed the fireworks. Very expensive for a bad experience.

You can’t fault the location of this property for a city stay however, bedding was still covered in hair and the shower is full of mould but the worst thing would have to be how rude the desk staff are. Received no welcome/how are you on arrival simply glared at and handed paperwork. Then demanded a credit card for a bond deposit- received another eye roll when I said I don’t use them. Checkout staff were just as unfriendly and unprofessional.

Very central for access for cbd. Easy to walk to Southbank and the botanical gardens. The room was very small but adequate and clean. The walls were so thin I could hear my neighbours’ conversations, I didn’t dare turn on the tv for fear of disturbing them.
