Voted 2011’s Beach House of the Year and designed by Donovan Hill, this modern twist on the Straddie Beach House, offers spectacular views from east to west and just a short walk to Point Lookout’s shops, restaurants, the North Gorge walk and beaches, this stunning property is the perfect place to stay for your Stradbroke Island Holiday.

The layout of Moongalba is ‘a little bit out of the box’ please read on to ensure this property is suitable for your stay. Moongalba is a pod design. There is the ‘main’ pod which consists of the kitchen, living and bathroom. Adjoined to this pod externally is a door which leads upstairs to the main bedroom, another small bedroom with a single bed complete.

The breezeway outside of the two bedrooms leads up further stairs to the rooftop deck.
Tucked away neatly external to the ‘main’ pod you will find a BBQ and gas top oven.
Covered decking then leads to a large ground level ‘sleeping pod’ which has a queen bed and 2 single beds.

Comfortably furnished and a sun-drenched, grassed area for lounging about and enjoying the stunning and expansive ocean views of Main Beach towards the Gold Coast. Sleeping up to six people, Moongalba is fitted with a simple and stylish modern galley kitchen with all the modern conveniences of home.

Beautifully suited to cater for a small group of friends or family with older children seeking a classic Straddie beach experience with stunning indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy ocean views, no matter what the weather is doing.
