The cabin is tucked away near 3 other cabins on the edge of the property in thick rainforest. The cabin is super clean and private and close to some walking tracks. You can expect to see lots of padamelons and birds. Just a heads up you won't get Optus or Vodafone from the cabin, but that's also a good thing. By far the best rainforest retreat I've ever stayed in.

What a gem! With two little active boys this stay was so much fun! We enjoyed spotting wildlife, exploring the great outdoors and being left with a feeling of full recharge. It was a simple stay, but it was amazing!

Gorgeous cabin, amazing wildlife, and beautiful scenery ! An amazing thunderstorm rolled in on our last night and made for an amazing adventure. We bought food in Sanford (not sure of spelling ) and cooked our meals in the cabin and barbecued our last night . Highly recommend !

Magical getaway

What a great place to get away from it all. Beautiful surroundings and well appointed cabin in a peaceful setting. Barely saw another human the whole time (which was preferred). We didn't even have to check in or out- everything was just ready for us- including a fire ready to light. Stayed in the Kingfisher which was the furthermost cabin, so super quiet and surrounded by nature- saw lots of little critters, especially when we walked down and through to the hiking trails. Self catered and everything was there for us. Only two minor negatives, the bed was a little too soft so we got sore backs (super minor- and I understand that is a preference thing more than anything), and driving in (past reception and toward the cabins) there was a huge hump in the driveway and no matter how cautious we were, we bottomed out and scratched the underside of our car. that would be good to be looked at. Overall, a magical and peaceful stay, exactly what we were after!

Beautiful place, quiet and lots of birds. Very nice cabin but a rough dirt road to get to it. We were afraid to drive our little rental car down the road so we walked which was OK since it wasn't too far.

Compact cabin in rain forest setting

Beautifully made cabin in a rainforest setting. Effective wood heater with wood supplied. Nicely finished wood interior. Only a few niggles - no mention on any Wotif document that if you arrive in the afternoon on a weekday without your own food, you're going hungry. Nearby cafes close about 3pm and the nearest shop is an hour's return drive. Bathroom has a chemical toilet smell - suggest keeping the door closed so it doesn't take over the rest of the cabin.

Quick gataway deep in the rainforest

If your wanting to completely remove yourselves from life’s stressors this is the place to come. Everything is provided for other than food and wine really, the bed is very comfortable and supportive, the outdoor barbecue on the deck with deck chairs. I had the best sleep in s very long time, waking up to the native wildlife all around us, we absolutely recommend this place to nature lovers.
