A great property in a very central location. The only thing that drove me crazy was the use of QR codes to do everything that just wouldn’t work at times. It took 20 minutes to try and order room service for my daughter and there was no TV unless you downloaded a chrome casting app, then mirrored your own device off your own Netflix of similar. This was a real hassle and finally after getting it all sorted the connection kept dropping out. We travelled 5 hours and the kids just wanted to get room service and watch a movie and it was a very challenging ask!!! Not what you would expect from such a lovely hotel.

Loved the room and premises but would have liked a choice of breakfast only a buffet which was $42 I could not eat what was brought to the table. Just wanted something small toast or cereal not available had to go elsewhere to have breakfast.

I paid a premium to be there for new years eve , and was given a room facing a wall. Their add says parking avaliable ,when i got there was told its valet parking only at $55 a night so an extra $110 to the total . When I checked out I got sent an invoice for $120 so they charged me an extra $10 on the credit card they had on file. I was told they want a $100 fee held when checking in which is normal, but they held $101.50 on my card. So they charged me a fee for them to hold a deposit , I didnt get that back either. I would say to others looking for a hotel at south bank ,there are plenty of good hotels to choose from. Choose carefully

Great location

Rydges Southbank is in a fabulous location right behind the gorgeous Southbank river precinct. Our king suite was large and perfect for our family of 4. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
