This hotel was busy with rugby players which may have affected their service. Reception unhelpful and couldn't even be bothered to tell me my room was ready. Patio very dirty. Very comfy beds So nice hotel but service bad

Old world charm and service

Our go to for special occasions. They gave us so many nice things for our anniversary and again, I can’t say enough how stylish and beautiful the whole hotel is.

Poor reception on arrival. The receptionist was cold and very unwelcoming. The curtain facing the river was not fully attached and hence, hanging down. Only 1 bedside lamp. The bedside lamp that was present had a short in the switch. This was reported and handled quickly. The maintenance man was very pleasant and polite. Replaced the faulty (and only) bedside lamp with one that was working. He asked if we wanted him to bring a second lamp, and we said no. I will never stay at a Stamford Hotel again

Fab stay near the city gardens

Beautiful Hotel, excellent service, concierge and reception make sure you have everything you need, large room, comfy bed and great river views, oh and brekkie buffet great value for money!
