Two different colours of several pubic looking hairs in shower, hair on pillow, little kitchen bench was sticky/tacky uncleaned, dirty stuck on debris in sink, bathroom sink too small to fill kettle, 2 cups only - no plate or bowl, shower heat and volume was great but squished up against shower curtain for even a slim body, bed was very comfortable, had air con , wifi and tv which was great. No lift.

KIMBERLEE

Basic room but came with all needed ammenities. Very small but as we were not there except to sleep it was fine. Very minimal sound proofing between rooms. I would definitely return as a solo traveller but would not stay with my young child as the noises are frequent and would wake them. Also; no extra blinds so prepare to wake up early

The first problem was that this place is not ground level , it is three stories which is a real pain in the arse when you're struggling with luggage. This is no mention of this on their booking website. The next problem was in booking the joint through Wotif. Avoid this booking agent like the plague. It is a very unfriendly site. I had a fellow guest trying to help me get access. And we struggled. We could get a required code to open the damn door. I had to hold my phone camera to take a photo of my Licence. The other guest had to click the button for me. Hopeless. Finally in absolute desperation, I called the 07 number on the front door. An Asian lady answered, and as is often the case, I struggled to understand her. We did work through it, and got a code to me. We opened the unit door. No bloody chairs! No damn cuttery; the shower had only a curtain which allowed water onto the floor and around the toilet! No damn good if someone needed to use the loo after someone had a shower. The basin was very small which made cleaning your teeth very difficult. No condiments; and to top it off, the 2ply toilet paper was crap. Warning: Bring your own toilet paper. There was no where to store the extra pillows other than on a (dirty) floor. The bed was the only decent thing in the joint. Avoid this place and Wotif. Too bloody hard and too bloody small. At $132 (and, I think they may have charged me an extra $18 plus dollars for some of a booking fee? Grossly overpriced. Never again!

Could easily be so much better

The tone was set by the rather threatening warnings about stream setting off the smoke alarm and the $1500 your have to pay. But a small fridge that had no shelves or rail in the door so things fell out, and a room that sleeps 3 but only had one stool to sit on and no table to sit at, all combined to make it a less pleasant stay. Add in the long dark hair on the bathroom floor - not mine... that's been grey for years! There was no common area available (it was locked) so your choice was to sit in your room where visitors were banned. Comfortable enough but I'm in no rush to go back.
