Well....This property was convenient for what we needed it for...However, there were some problems with the stay. Here is the good thing about the property: the owner did communicate with us and we were able to have our dogs there. We were confused, though, because the listing said "yes" to dogs and then she asked two days before our trip if we had dogs, we said yes, and she said, "well, okay, for just this time"?? Hummm.... The not so good things: The dryer was broken; personally, i think it has been broken for a long time. We wasted two days of our vacation because she said someone was coming and then no one showed up. We had to go to the laundromat downtown (thank goodness for the people in the community for they took pity on us and told us which laundromat to go to). The place looks worn..Rugs on top of rugs; which we tripped over, And the rugs underneath were dirty and stained. The living room and dining room furniture is big and makes the place tight. Beds were okay.. Place wasn't super clean, just okay. We didn't use the basement, thus, no comments about there. The Owner did refund us a bit, after we negotiated with her. I can't recommend or not recommend this place. I give a neutral rating only because of the refund and what we utilized the place for.

Liked: Cleanliness
Extremely well equipped, clean and neat. Lots of space, three levels. Communication with the host was extremely satisfactory -- quick response and every effort made to make sure our stay was positive. It was unfortunate that the tennis court did not have a net, that we were told that we could not play pickleball on the court, and that the basketball hoop had no net. This was a disappointment for kids and adults.The walk to the entrance to Wellington State Park is not long, but you have to walk along the side of a road that can be busy. There is a wider shoulder on one side, but cars and trucks, many with boat trailers, make it a bit scary . WSP has a wonderful sandy beach, crystal clear water, marked swim area, picnic tables, and playground/field. Your host will provide a WSP seasonal pass upon request. On weekends, the parking lot is full by 9am, so try to make a reservation online one day ahead. Without a pass, entry price is per person, whether parking or walking in. Cummings Beach and Avery Crouse Beach are in Bristol, and visitors can get a week pass for 50 - BUT this is only avl if you have a Bristol address. If you give Alexandria as the address, you cannot buy this pass, so cannot use those two beaches. Parking attendants are on duty until 5pm, and if you park without a pass, you WILL be ticketed (). In any case, Wellington State Park beach is far superior to these other two. ;-}

Lots of space for family - convenient location!

We had a nice stay at Daisy’s townhome in New Hampshire. The unit is conveniently located right near Newfound Lake. Lots of living space. My kids loved having their own living room/TV and sleeping area in the basement. The full bathroom in the basement was great for them too! Communication was excellent! Would stay again!
