Definitely not upmarket, A’s was advertised

It stated it was an upmarket apartment. From the minute I received an email to say they didn’t provide bath towels I had my doubts. On arrival at the property I found the apartment had not been cleaned thoroughly. The kitchen equipment needed to be rewashed, there was an old milk stain still by the fridge, no light bulb in the lamp in the living room, no soap, shower gel or shampoo or hand towel in the bathroom. The property also had single glazing which meant the noise of passing cars at night as very loud in the bedroom. The whole experience almost ruined the visit. Thankfully I was only in the property for a few hours to sleep. Even that was difficult on a bed that was ready to fall apart and anyone over 5ft10 would have their legs hanging over the end.. Don’t ever stay here! Even the tea and coffee had suspicious dark lumps in it!

cheap accomodation, but you can find a better one

Excellent Hotels.com customer care that tried to solve some issues, but still the accomodation (among the cheapest in town) is far from the best solution. We received instruction about the flat just few hours before arriving, and we realized that bath towels were not included (in the site description they were). Linens and blanked provided were dirty, so we called the owner to change them (actually they changed, because they were f***in dirty). Double bed is not suitable for tall people, as it's very little. Heaters were not working, as an error was displayed on the boiler, so the flat was cold. Owner pretends whatsapp answers when a negative feedback is released on the site, but actually I have never got answers related on a partial refund for the towels issue.

Un po' complicato!!

Non siamo riusciti in nessun modo a contattare il titolare con i nostri telefoni, abbiamo chiamato Hotels.com ma l'operatore ha riferito di non avere il numero e che avrebbe inviato una email comunicando il nostro arrivo.Sul posto non abbiamo trovato nessuno. Abbiamo suonato ad una vicina che è stata gentilissima, così dopo aver fatto una serie di telefonate è riuscita a parlare con il titolare per farci dare il codice della cassetta che conteneva le chiavi di casa. Il divano letto non è idoneo ad ospitare due persone anche se ragazzi, l'età delle nostre figlie è 14 anni e 9 anni ed è stata scritta nella ricerca. L'appartamento anche se vecchio era pulito, anche se un lenzuolo era macchiato e gli asciugamani che abbiamo trovato nel ripostiglio non sapevamo se fossero utilizzabili. Sarebbe opportuno essere accolti da una persona al momento del check-in.
