The Lookout 43 is a fantastic two bedroom character cottage, sleeping up to four guests in the harbour town of Brixham. Furnished throughout to a high standard and within walking distance of town and harbour.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Terraced front garden and garden furniture. Enclosed rear courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: No children under 2 years old.. The Lookout 43 is approached via steps from the road, leading to a pretty terraced front garden, where you can enjoy drinks or dining while enjoying views across the bay. As you enter the property, you find yourself in the cosy and stylishly furnished living area which boasts a window seat with views over the bay, and a wood burner, perfect for warming up on those cold winter evenings in front of the Smart TV. The dining area in the next room comfortably seats four guests and leads into the well-equipped kitchen, with all you could need to rustle up a good meal. At the end of the kitchen there is a very handy utility area with a Belfast sink, as well as housing the dishwasher and washing machine. The door from the utility area leads out onto the pleasant rear courtyard garden with seating and coal barbecue for enjoying the last of the evening warmth. On the first floor, the master bedroom is located with a kingsize bed and views across the bay. The family bathroom is also on the first floor, with a traditional claw foot freestanding bath and a separate shower enclosure. On the second floor is a lovely twin bedroom with the added benefit of an en-suite shower room. The bedroom is flooded with light through the dormer windows and with views over Brixham harbour, breakwater and out to sea. The Lookout 43 is situated just outside of the hustle and bustle of Brixham town centre itself, while still being within walking distance of the town. Whatever your reason for visiting Brixham and the beautiful English Riviera, The Lookout 43 is a great place to start.

Lovely cottage, cosy well equipped, good location.

Lovely cottage, cosy well equipped, good location. Welcome pack wine and chocolates lovely. We have stayed in lots of holiday cottages and our preference for a welcome pack is tea, coffee, milk, breads or biscuits which has been our experience in the past. It’s my personal preference because I don’t drink alcohol. We would definitely recommend to friends

This property is clean, comfortable and quite large with two useful outside sitting areas. Everything you could need for a week away and located close to the harbour area. Very well renovated to a high standard. My only small gripe is the original Vrbo property description said “on site parking” which for brixham is a massive plus. It turned out that the parking is on street about 5-10 minutes walk away-uphill! Not a real problem if you are young and fit but a bit of a pain when you are getting on a bit, Vrbo have now changed the listing to read “”Paking available”” but even this is a bit misleading. None of this is the owners fault by the way who was always most helpful.
