Broadstairs offers restaurants, cafes and gift shops. Enjoy the regular summer fireworks displays and festivals, including Folk Week, or take to your bike and explore the beautiful 27 mile Viking Way. Alternatively Westwood Cross shopping, 2 miles, offers 53 stores, restaurants, cinema and casino. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We used it as a base for exploring that side of Kent - Deal, Walmer, Rochester, etc. Easy 25 minute walk from cottage into Ramsgate, lovely walks along coast to Broadstairs and even Margate. Lovely cottage, second time we have stayed there. Local beach excellent for dog walking. Main fault with the cottage is that there is no WIFI, and if you are using a MIFI or WIFI dongle reception can be quite poor or non existant at times.

Our second visit and once again it didn't disappoint. The bungalow was clean and cosy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. WiFi would have made it perfect! The garden was ideal for the dog and had off road parking for two cars. We hope to return.
