Bear Paw Patio Retreat Cabin in Broken Bow | Two-Cabin Escape for Reunions and Celebrations

The Experience
Bear Paw Patio Retreat combines PatioLife and Can't Bear to Leave for a large-group stay in the Kiamichi Mountains near Hochatown where comfort, entertainment, and forest scenery all come together. A convenient path connects the backyards, making this an especially easy setup for reunions, celebrations, and multi-family vacations.

PatioLife sleeps 21 and blends modern style with cabin warmth, featuring seven bedrooms, mountain views, multiple fireplaces, and a large patio built for gathering. The oversized hot tub, ping pong, darts, and mini basketball bring energy outdoors, while the open kitchen and living spaces keep everyone connected inside.

Can't Bear to Leave adds another seven-bedroom retreat with soaring windows, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, a full bar, and a game room with pool and shuffleboard. Younger guests also get their own dedicated playroom with books, games, and a ball pit, while the covered decks, hot tub, and fire pit create space for the whole group to wind down.

During your stay, you are close to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, Mountain Fork River, wineries, breweries, dining, hiking, and Hochatown attractions, making day trips easy before returning to your private wooded retreat.

Nature & Environment
One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during your stay.

Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.

During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.

Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.

We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.

What To Bring
We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

Liked: Location
Lots of space for all of our family. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. However, both master bedrooms did not have a closet and the whole place just needs some attention. The QR code for check out didn’t work, so we didn’t know what we were expected to do. Cell service was poor and everyone had an hard time finding the place. Communication with Craig was sometimes difficult. Don’t message him after 5:00 pm. Overall we had a great time and it was a beautiful place for a wedding.
