It was a comfortable overnight motel stay conveniently located very close to the centre of town. Everything worked well - aircon, fridge, shower, and the basin was in a separate room to the toilet and shower, which was good.

This motel has an excellent location in the middle of Broken Hill, close to shops, restaurants, takeaways etc. It is on one level, with most parking outside the units, which makes it good for older people or those with mobility issues, who don’t want to climb stairs. Facilities were comfortable, with a good shower and comfortable chairs. Keys were available contact free outside the office, probably a COVID precaution, so I didn’t speak to staff. The only drawback was traffic noise, and a strange continuous noise about 5 am, which seemed to come from a nearby room.

Room 7 they put us in had a leaking toilet base and the entire room smelt like sewerage and covered up with air freshener. It failed.. advised that no other rooms were available. To top it off, there were covid positive people in isolation in the rooms on either side. We didn't stay.

lovely

Lovely older motel - but I mean in the sense that it's almost historic. Nice big rooms. Handy location on the main street, and walking distance to everything in the middle of town. Would stay again.
