This is an adorable little house. It had everything we needed. We were visiting Jedediah Smith State Park to see the giant trees. That was an easy 30 minutes away, just perfect. The house was clean, cool (record temps during our visit), nicely furnished. We loved the fluffy towels and comfy bedding. Thanks for being a part of our trip!

Perfect for pet owners (or not)!

Very clean, well organized and thoughtful for travelers (ice was already waiting for us in the freezer and bottled water in the fridge, everything you would need in the kitchen, fluffy comfy towels, tons of blankets, etc), literally minutes from everything we wanted to see and do in Brookings. You must eat at Fat Irish Pub while you visit!Staying here reminded me of visiting my Grandparents, and I mean that as a high compliment. A simple, clean and well-loved home that I felt at ease in. Loved it.This home is very pet friendly, with bowls and even leashes -- sadly, we had a change of plans last minute and didn't bring our sweet dog, but can't wait to visit Brookings again, bring her, and stay at this lovely home!

Springtime Visit

The size of rooms and space was a perfect fit for the 2 of us. The bed and couch were comfortable with a great selection of pillows and blankets. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking meals. The dishwasher made clean-up easy and efficient. The best set up in the laundry room with a utility sink, an iron and ironing board, fabric refresh spray, laundry soap and fabric softner sheets. The 2nd bathroom is located here. Lots of pet extras, a leash, food dishes, pet towels. The view is great on semi clear or clear days which we had everyday. Ocean view from kitchen sink and livingroom. The price was the best for the total package. We hope to visit again.

Chapman house is a cute little place was warm and dry in the storm although the heater ran quite often during the night, hard on a light sleeper. A comfortable place.

Very clean and close to everything

This is a home is adorable! It’s tucked back at the end of a dead-end street very close to town and all the shops! It’s not far from Harris beach ,which is a Great Beach! It was missing a couple of amenities like coffee and Ziploc baggies so you might want to bring those or other containers to put your leftovers in but all in all I highly recommend this sweet little home.

Great spot

Overall this place is great. Its near everything, tidy, well priced, great ocean view and well stocked. We would stay there again in an instant! It was perfect for us. Nitty gritty: The neighborhood is totally fine, but if you are looking for the fancy part of town, look elsewhere. It is quiet and feels very safe, but is for sure an older neighborhood on the outskirts of town. Communication with the rental agency was fine, but it did take over 5 hours for them to respond to my question of whether or not we could check in early (we could not). So keep that in mind.
