The property is a beautiful old Belgian mansion converted into a B&B. The stay is very welcoming and the rooms very comfortable, with a lot of furniture and decorations sympathetic to the age of the building. The locations is about 15 minutes from Brugge, but easy to find and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the nearby village does have some amenities, they do close fairly early.

The B&B was beautiful and unique, located just a short drive from downtown Bruges. Our room was beautiful with lovely vibrant blue wall paper and a unique bathtub our son enjoyed. Breakfast was large and plentiful, just perfect for our family ranging from 2 and 13 to us adults. The owners were very kind and showed our son their parrot, he loved it! I'd love to visit again in spring/summer because I know the property would be blooming to it's fullest beauty at that time.

We had a very nice welcoming at arrival. Our bedroom was so clean and fresh. We loved the antique furniture, the bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The B&B is set in a very quite area with lovely views. Good continental breakfast. I would definitely book it again and I would recomend it.

Herrschaftlicher Landsitz

Die Zimmer sind individuell mit antikem Mobiliar eingerichtet - wir haben Spaß an dieser Art von besonderer, individueller Einrichtung, die so gar nicht mit den Standardzimmern in Standardhotels vergleichbar sind. Das Badezimmer ist renoviert und unseren Ansprüchen, die durchaus nicht gering sind, völlig gerecht. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker.

Nice stay in a beautiful Mansion

Our family stayed at Domain Leegendael while visiting Bruges. This was a beautiful Mansion with well maintained grounds. No air conditioning in July, but the room cooled off comfortably when we opened the windows.

Das Haus führt einen auf eine Reise in die Vergangenheit, ohne auf die modernen Dinge des Lebens ( W-LAN, Flachbildschirm-TV, Boxspringbett) zu verzichten. Alles Top mit alten Materialien renoviert. Wundervoll!! Ausreichend Parkplätze, leckeres Frühstück und sehr nette Gastgeber...wir kommen wieder!

Hôtel de caractère , en pleine campagne idéal pour visiter Bruges et la région. Très bel accueil de la patronne aux petits soins pour la clientèle Petit déjeuner correct , jolie salle à manger style ancien Pour les amoureux des belles demeures , c'est l'endroit idéal parc bien entretenu invitant à la promenade et la détente ! Nous avons reçu de bons conseils restaurants de la part de notre hôtesse, néanmoins pensez à réserver car le we , c'est pas garanti de trouver place !

Simply a great stay...

Place is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were on a brewery pilgrimage of the Trappist and others. The staff made nice recommendations for dinners and side trip - and directions around the area. Hope to get back there with friends soon.

Rustig gelegen B&B met geschiedenis

Het onthaal was sympathiek, we hebben bij het uitchecken ook nog wat uitleg gevraagd over het kasteel waarbij de eigenares uitvoerig haar verhaal deed. Het is ook een geschikte locatie om met de ganse familie te verblijven. Centraal gelegen om kust en omliggende steden te bezoeken.
