On Expedia, it said " Early check in" for $20. It does not have a place on this website to pay for early check-in. The night before to arrive, I received a email from Microtel hotel and now huge charges for early check-in for 10:00am is $50.00. $40.00 for 11.00am. I wanted to surprise my wife for a earlier day and a hot tub, so I paid $40 and not pleased. We arrived at 11am so the very rude, nasty woman and the counter told me " did you see your email and it will not be a available till 12 noon". I said " No, we have driving to be on time for 11am". I said " can't you make it cheaper of $40 ". She said " we will make it $30 ". So, I sked that can we sit at the pool area to wait? Stringy , unkempt woman said " No, but you can drive to the park and wait till 12 noon. We drove for 10 miles for nothing of a park and no restrooms. We arrived at 12noon and realized that the pool is locked. She has to unlock it then we found out of cigarettes butts around the pool and broken glass bottles pieces laying on the gate of the pool. We cleaned it up. It was obvious that the maids did not see or not care will they took a break 10 ft away from us and broken glass about 5ft away. The unkempt counter woman and the manager or owner walked together and did not even notice. The whole area was nasty with plant debris in the hot tub. We went to our room and noticed recessed ceiling lights are hanging loose. Evidently, was newly remodeled but left very old oxidized smoke detector was very obvious.

Check in was fine. Our room had four pillows at its headboard. I was horrified to find one bloodstained- this led me to believe pillow covers were never cleaned. Then the worst part was we wanted to watch the final game of the World Series and the tv only had audio- such a disappointment we will never stay there again

This hotel has terrific service and fresh cookies upon arrival. They were dog friendlyand at a fair service charge. The room was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased and would return. Great pizza place just up the street and Dunkin's next door is a better option for breakfast.

The hotel is a good value without question. I may be willing to pay more money for some improvements to the facility. It does a good business without question. Twice I had to park in a competitors parking lot across the street because all of the spots in the hotel lot were full. No lamps to speak of beside the sofa. So, either over head lights or you can’t read unless you’re in bed. Also no cell chargers at the sofa. The hot tub is small and barely got warm though you wouldnt want to be out there long because all smokers go to the covered area directly behind the whirlpool. If you like smelling cigarettes and marijuana while trying to relax, you may love it. The room has Smart TVs, but why bother, if they can’t be brought on line. Seems I remember a previous review stating the same thing. The hotel is clean and every employee was pleasant and genuine. That alone was a breath of fresh air compared to other chains located nearby. I really don’t know if you can call three old machines in an ugly room a fitness center. I opted for the gym down the street which is open 24 hours during the week. but the hotel is dated. Why have Dma

Adequate areas to walk the dog, not great. The room was very clean, bathroom was good, bed was great. Furniture was very basic. If you want a clean and comfortable overnight stay this place is fine. $23 extra for pet. Breakfast starts s little late for early risers

Room was clean, but the property smelled of mold when we entered the building- not overwhelming, but present. The air conditioner in the room seemed to struggle. The evening staff was super nice and helpful.
