Property looked okay when we arrived. Easy enough to check in and we paid for early check in as we had an early flight and was heading to the football. Room seemed okay at first so we thought after an awful first night sleep. Pillows are terrible, so flimsy and thin. The mattress is even worse, thin as well and not really comfortable, partner woke up with a very sore back. Room apparently had A/C, which again didn't work as it should and didn’t provide cool air to the room when it was quite warm. We checked online and was told we could ask for more pillows and a fan at reception to hopefully help give us a better night sleep. We went to reception and we were told we couldn't have any more pillows as the hotel was “fully booked” and there was no spare, a quick browse online debunked this theory as there were more than 10 rooms available to book. We then asked for a fan and was told it wasn’t a fan, more of a heater. While we were out exploring we actually had to buy a pillow at H&M Home on the hight street which cost us €12 each to help us get a better sleep as the hotel were non-existent in helping. There were also no TV in the room which we could have sworn was available at the time of booking. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend booking here and avoid. For the cost of the hotel you expect some sort of decent customer service when we asked but we didnt. Its not like it was cheap!!! AVOID.

Love how everything is so quick and accessible with check in and check out. When we needed help, the female host that was there was amazing. Our a/c in our room didn’t work and she was quick and accommodating and switched rooms for us immediately

Loved our stay at the Citybox Brussels! Easy to check in with the machines and our room was ready a little earlier. Hotel is clean, modern, and spacious. Lots of walkable stores, restaurants and attractions nearby. Staff thst we talked to were so friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Overall a really good hotel, has everything you need for a short stay. Small simplistic room, and fantastic facilities downstairs. Their lobby and common area underneath make very good places to relax after a long day and do some laundry and/or cook if you need to. Only downside was the size, I am a large 6’3” man so walking around and showering were a bit difficult.

Terrific

It was really nice. Simple, very clean, close to public transport and city centre. There is a guest kitchen and dining area where you can store and heat up food as well as access hot water. It is kept nice and clean and tidy. There is also a selection of games and books and a ping pong table. Excellent for staying with kids and when the weather is not so pleasant. It can be noisy at night unfortunately. Check in and out process was completely computerized and very user friendly

The junior suite was spacious and adequate size for 3 adults. Great bathroom facilities and comfy beds. Check in and out was very easy. There’s a kitchen downstairs you can get cups etc from and staff available in the office for extra towels or queries. The breakfast in Brød was really good value too. Safe location next to a range of restaurants.

Pros: good location, clean room Cons: 1. a hot room and the Air/con not working 2. the noise from the tram. I asked to be moved and was told by the attendant that the hotel was fully booked. How is it okay to think that people are okay staying by a loud tram? I slept poorly, so it is unlikely I will stay there again.
