Property looked okay when we arrived. Easy enough to check in and we paid for early check in as we had an early flight and was heading to the football.
Room seemed okay at first so we thought after an awful first night sleep. Pillows are terrible, so flimsy and thin. The mattress is even worse, thin as well and not really comfortable, partner woke up with a very sore back. Room apparently had A/C, which again didn't work as it should and didn’t provide cool air to the room when it was quite warm. We checked online and was told we could ask for more pillows and a fan at reception to hopefully help give us a better night sleep.
We went to reception and we were told we couldn't have any more pillows as the hotel was “fully booked” and there was no spare, a quick browse online debunked this theory as there were more than 10 rooms available to book. We then asked for a fan and was told it wasn’t a fan, more of a heater.
While we were out exploring we actually had to buy a pillow at H&M Home on the hight street which cost us €12 each to help us get a better sleep as the hotel were non-existent in helping.
There were also no TV in the room which we could have sworn was available at the time of booking.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend booking here and avoid. For the cost of the hotel you expect some sort of decent customer service when we asked but we didnt. Its not like it was cheap!!!
