The hotel did not send check info and attempted to charge us for our stay. Horrible communication with the property.
Location was close to train and public transport.
Room was dirty when I arrived (dirt on floors, shower not clean). There is no shower screen door, so water went everywhere each time we had a shower.
Wifi only seemed to work through the day which was no use as we were out exploring the city.
The location was ideal for us, the property was really clean, we had some confusion finding the property and our taxi driver had to liaise with Smartflats but we were driving round for a while trying to find it, thereâs a really strong smell in the property from the drains and the noise from outside is constant throughout the night

Close by restaurants, the apt has everything that you need, just the bathroom is too small and doesn't have elevator.
We were supposed to have wifi for that week, we called the customer service number, they were not helpful at all, so we ended up not having wifi at all for the whole week. (Customer service people were nice and respectful but didnt do much) the sheets were stained (black stain) the water pressure in the shower is horrible, couldn't even wash my hair properly and its small, one person can barley fit in there.The pictures of the appartment are decieving, the pictures showed that we would have a bathroom, and when we arrived there the shower is literally in the room, so everyone can see you showering. There was no light in the apartment only in the room. The sofa bed was also super uncomfortable

Never received information on how to check in. Had to call a few times to be able to check in. Shower had no privacy. No curtain or door. The outside was very dirty. Entrance in to building was missing tiles , big mess, dirty.

Bad smell, toilet flush didn't work well, linen didn't seem very clean, hot water in the shower didn't work (had to get out to reset the boiler), poor upkeep in general. Definitely not recommended.
The apartment is in a great location off the Grand Place and Central Station. The windows are double plane and blocks out most of the track and tourist noise. Walking was easy to most of the sights. The two bedrooms were spacious for us and the option of the sofa bed was good as well. The apartment was light and airy with good amenities in the kitchenette. Nice full size refrigerator and gas stove. The shower area of the bathroom can use some work, as water gets everywhere. We also had to walk to a different location to pickup and drop off the keys for checkin and checkout. Overall nice stay.

The lounge is portable and itâs convenient but my room at the 4th floor it was difficult to get to my room by taking the stairs.
We had the two bedroom 4 bed flat. It was a dirty and you could feel springs in the beds. Couches with stains and the floor carpets need replacing. No shower door.
Location was ok. 10-15 min walk to main attractions and 10 mins from train.

Definitely don't book with Smartflats, for the following reasions. 1) I booked a property near where my meeting was. They changed the property location so I was across town and had to take two metro trains each time. 2) It's a real pain checking in as you have to send them scans of your passport, bank cards etc - a time sink; 3) When I got to the property the wifi didn't work. I spent an hour trying to sort it out, including in a chat with a staff person from Smartflats. It couldn't be fixed. The next day it still didn't work (i.e. they hadn't tried to fix it, or didn't care). A really bad experience overall. AVOID.
Loud, one hears people coming in and out. Also poorly insulated towards the outside. One also smells other guests' cooking very strongly. The apartment could also have been cleaner
