We had a bit of trouble getting checked in. I had to contact the property to get the check in form and then the process didn't work. It was frustrating that the contact phone number is for the USA when the accommodation is in Romania, that's a lot of international calling charges if you have issues like we did.
Upon checking in, we were quite disappointed to not have the sofa bed in the second bedroom made up as a bed. We booked the apartment with 2 adults and 3 children, but only the one bed was made. We had to set up the sofa bed as well as find and set up the infant crib. We paid for the room with 5 guests, but we had to do a lot of the work ourselves. That was very disappointing and frustrating. Thankfully there was enough clean bedding to get all the beds setup.
Also, we found cockroaches in both bedrooms on check-in. Upon noticing a note in the kitchen, this seems to be a recurring issue and one that they try to blame on customers. Also, on that note, there are no dish drying facilities in the kitchen. No dish towels, and no drying rack. We had to use a hand towel from the bathroom to dry the dishes so as not to leave a puddle on the counter top.
For the positives,
We've really enjoyed the location of the apartment. We're impressed by the 3 individual A/C units and the apartment looks very nice. The kitchen is well appointed, other than the the drying options. It was a comfortable space that suited our needs as a family.
