Context: We used this as a very short one-night stay moving through Bucharest on our way to Transylvania. It was in the June 2026 heat wave.
Location: We took the train from the airport to Gara Nord, then walked with our luggage in Gara Nord to the metro stop, then took the yellow line out to Mihai Bravu and walked 7-10 minutes to the hotel. Don't do this during rush hour, but it makes for a very cheap navigation from airport to hotel. This is also great for exploring around the town, since a lot of the museums and touristy things are on the yellow and red lines, so Mihai Bravu is a great location. There's one lighted crosswalk you cross a busy street, not a big deal. If you're confident about city metro lines, this hotel makes for a wonderfully inexpensive option, since it's on the correct metro lines but not actually in the touristy downtown part. It's a 3 minute walk to a nice grocery store which we used to grab supplies for our trip we didn't want to fly with (i.e. big shampoo bottles).
Hotel: Check-in is an un-miss-able staffed desk, and the woman we spoke to had great English skills.
The outside is adooooorable with green space and some chickens in a pen.
The inside is totally photo-worthy with great decor.
The room is actually the same as pictured online, no misleading photos there.
They definitely had AC in the room, which was adjustable, and we were able to blast it after all that travel in the heat.
All in all a great choice!
