Don’t think I will return.

Second time I was here. First time was ok, acceptable, nothing to write about. Except this time there were a few problems. 1) There were baby roaches. I saw three in my room. 2) They didn’t clean the toilet so that it had dried urine on the lip of the bowl when you pick up the toilet seat, despite having a “disinfected” paper tape. 3) There was no toilet paper. I told the receptionist and he couldn’t find it at the time so I asked to have it placed in my room. When I got back to my room over 10 hours later at night there was no toilet paper. I had to get it from them next morning.

t This was the most horrible place I ever experienced the drapes were falling down full of dust very dirty ,glass of the shower was cracked water dripping on the walls and the bottom was full of black mold with a horrible smell .I inform Expedia and they were sorry they could not resolve my problem I'll try to resolve it differently but I'm very disappointed of the outcome.

The hotel is a single floor in a shabby apartment block - they've obviously tried hard to make it nice with some decorative niknaks in the corridor but the rooms are small, curtains aren't big enough for the windows, the bathroom floor was caving in, hpusekeeling/cleaning in the 4 days I was there (I booked 3 rooms for 4 days - they all had the same issues). You definitely get what you pay for, but as a base a for a long weekend for 3 guys on the p*ss it was fine. Definitely do not take your partner for a romantic stay. The rooms are seriously not large enough for 2 people. There is no dining or food of any kind, nor is there a kettle or iron/board available. Plenty of good local coffee shops around for breakfast though. Metro is close and the old town area is about a 10 minute walk away.

Unless you're on a tight budget, I don't recommend

The property is located a few doors down from the Vodafone shop and reception is on the second floor. If you don't know that, it is hard to find the property and you do behin to think you're in the wrong place. The man on reception was miserable and unfriendly. When we arrived and asked to check in (approx 10pm, we did inform the hotel of this weeks in advance) he snarled at us and said he was supposed to have left at 7pm and started complaining in Romanian so we didn't understant what he was saying. Luckiky another gentleman showed up and checked us in, and thankfully he was lovely. We had apartment/room one, which the room was ok. It was decorated nicely, but cleanliness wasn't very good. We had empty drink bottles left in the window behind the curtains, chewing gum stuck to the headboard, a broken toilet seat, mess under the wardrobe and we also seen cockroaches on our first night that had crawled in under the door, and then back out! (Advice, leave all items and bags/suitcases off the floor where possible!) We did stay for our entire time, but spent as little time as possible in our room. Overall, for the price we paid, it wasn't as terrible as some places we have stayed in. The location was good for walking to all of the main attractions in Bucharest, however it was extremely noisy at night as it was also next tp a main road. Overall, unless you're on a tight budget, I would not recommend.

The hotel was closed.Ive took 2 taxies and theychecked too that it was closed.that night ive stayed outside on the street. The next day i went to the hotel mercure bucharest city. Ifeel like youve still my money

Well worth it

Very well priced and in an excellent position and walking distance to the old city. The steps leading up to the rooms and apartments are not attractive yet once you arrive at the floor of the apartments it is a different story. The rooms are very clean, tidy and attractive. Some "old school" features such as a toothbrush and shaving kit give it an extra touch. Recommended.

Really enjoyed the property, BUT I would have liked information about the check in before booking. The first floor of the building is very sketchy in the evening and we weren't sure how to get in. That aside, the actual room was absolutely lovely, in a great location, and the staff were excellent

Wonderful staff, ready to help with anything I asked. I was a solo female traveler in my 20s, and not being familiar with Bucharest I was worried about getting around, but they were kind enough to help with taxi and transport information, as well as ensure my transfer from & to the airport. :) The room was clean and had everything I needed in order to feel at home - comfortable bed, great wifi, air conditioning (!! a key aspect for Bucharest during summer) and just an overall cosy space. The central location was also great, just minutes away from both Romana and Unirii tube stations. A Mega Image is right around the corner which was great for some minor grocery shopping. Having seen some negative reviews about the building itself, I was expecting worse, but the building looks just like any other older block of flats in Bucharest/Romania. It also has a lift, which was definitely useful for the luggage. I would happily stay here again and will recommend to anyone who looks for a place to stay in Bucharest!

The property has been remodelled and the ambience is quite nice. But because its a multi use multi level building, remodelling the floor below this property would enhace its attractiveness Improve the signage and intercon instructions
